The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away whenever it comes across one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right like a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
