Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Mulliner, Bentley's coachbuilding unit bespoke, has designed a distinctive keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of the bentley keys for sale brand. It is made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight, keys, and an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a brand that takes its aesthetics very seriously. The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top vehicle. The rear of the tonneau in the Continental GT, for instance it was the largest piece of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

It is this bespoke design, craftsmanship and attention to detail that has established Bentley as the most sought-after automobile brand. The company continues to push boundaries with the latest technology and hand-crafted products. Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 100 years after the marque was founded. A bespoke Bentley key case is also included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key has a button that opens the trunk and a second button that can start the car. The key also has a switch for turning on the parking brake. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors when parked in tight areas. This feature can aid in getting in and out of your vehicle more easily.

Each key takes two days to create. It is cut by hand shape, sewn, sealed and polished to give a high-quality finish. It is strong and compact, and will fit the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to that of the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however, it feels heavier and has a premium feel.

Secure-A-Key is also available to prevent keyless entry theft. The device is inserted into the remote control fob and disables it when the key has not been utilized for a period of a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can be used to open and start the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes about 500 man-hours to construct and construct the Mulsanne. A bently key to that time-consuming effort is a conscious refusal to take advantage of modern technology.
