This is an enormous improvement over the Qrevo Pro which ran out water after just mopping 30 days worth of dirt in our tests.

The Tapo RV30 Plus from networking giant TP Link is a fantastic two-in-one. It's quiet, compact, and has a neat, easy-to-clean appearance. In our test rooms, it cleans the floors quickly and thoroughly - it was particularly effective in cleaning rugs, however it required several runs to scrub certain areas of wood that were stained. Its LIDAR navigation system works very well too, avoiding bumping into furniture or crossing power cords.

It's a bit slow on the stairs, but it's to be expected from a small best cheap robot vacuum that is designed to work around obstacles. Its only downside is its mopping pad attachment which was difficult and wouldn't stay in place during our tests. It also lacks the ability of handling dust that has dried which makes it more of the vacuum rather than a mop.

Despite these shortcomings however, it's a great option for those looking for an easy-to-clean experience that can take care of carpets with equal competence. It offers a decent amount of suction, which has helped to remove dust and pet hair from carpets. One of the most appealing features is its automatic carpet recognition which enhances the effectiveness of the vacuum to take on dirt that is embedded. It's easy to use and the charging dock automatically emptyes the dustbin when it is full. This is a fantastic feature for apartment dwellers.

Cleaning apps

Most robot vacuum deals vacuums, mop and sweepers come with an app that allows you to alter the cleaning routines.
