Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of buy a robot remote vacuum cleaner now is the time. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's the first robot to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot floor cleaner robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy robotic rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the automatic floor cleaner. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand which other robots couldn't do. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as smart as the Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs The J7+ is an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know if the update is actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your most effective option is likely to be a hybrid. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. These bots also have many additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option when you're willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like tables and walls which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning robots for home up dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed emptying the bin is done easily. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people, but it's one that can assist you in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that does an excellent job of picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with an dock that allows you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want a vacuum robot that can do everything.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot vacuum hoover, there are many other options on the market. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

tikom-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-lidar-na4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up, simply attach one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it will fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The most important feature that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it began.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be emptied as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
