robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-orThe Best robot vacuum uk Robot Hoover

The best robot automatic hoover can mop and vacuum without needing your attention. It will leave your floors clean. Its price is surprisingly low and top-of-the-line features (such as dirt detection) are great features.

Be sure to check your robot's brushes for hair tangled as well as large debris and wash them if required. Some models will also empty the onboard dust bin and place it in a larger bin at the base. This reduces the amount fine dust released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 Pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've examined. They have motors that are top of the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other premium iRobots (including the top model) they employ intelligent mapping to design precise floor plans and eliminate household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. They also have carpet boost, a feature that increases the robot's power when it spots the presence of dirt on the carpet to get it cleaned up quickly.

Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our tests on floors that are bare, and they're particularly adept in removing pet hair. However, they have some flaws that prevent them from being our top pick. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is its navigation system does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's also prone to get stuck on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate rooms with lots of people well during our tests. Also, it doesn't have a camera that would let it see the corners of a room.

It's still a good value, especially if your office or home has a lot of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save some money. It's also quiet and can be used while you are at work or in school. The only thing it's missing that you can't find in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. It's also less effective at mopping. It is dependent on disposable wet wipes that don't adhere well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying cradle however. And, if you need to, you can swap the mopping pad for dry ones in a matter of seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba X30

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming capabilities into an elegant, compact package. Its intelligent cleaning maps as well as fluid navigation make it simple to clean, and efficient in tackling larger particles like pet hair. It also features a powerful suction and a self-emptying bin. It's the best robot hoover for carpets, though it isn't as efficient as some of its competitors in deep cleaning.

This top-performing mop and vacuum combination utilizes advanced sensors to stay clear of obstacles and pet waste and it also learns the layout of your home over time to ensure more efficient cleaning. You can alter the schedule of cleaning and even customize zones with the well-designed app. Its battery life is average in comparison to other models.

When the X30 Ultra is in a carpeted area, you can tell it to take off and extend its mops. This will help prevent cross contamination. Its flex arm can also be used to reach under furniture with low levels and along baseboards. It's not as efficient on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During tests, X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop to sweep the entire house, with 66 per cent of its battery remaining. It also did a great job cleaning a range of floors and rooms with mixed flooring types, including some area rugs. Its obstacle detection was top-of-the-line and it was nimbly avoiding fake dog socks, turds, and bundles of cables.

It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but it has superior suction and an onboard bin that automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can also clean the floor even after it vacuums. This is something we haven't seen on other robotic vacuum/mop combinations.

3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

With an elegant, circular design that looks like a regular Roomba than the competitors' boxes This robot vacuum and mop combo is among the most attractive looking models in our reviews. iRobot's latest flagship model also is among the most intelligent and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that has a perfect 10 in our testing due to a mix of high-tech sensors, which include cameras, a structured light system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that is fully self-refill and empty its base station, and boasts an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

Like other iRobot models, the X40 is user-friendly, with an intuitive mobile app interface, and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only drawback is that the X40 still a noisy unit. This can be a problem in the mornings before work or in the evening when you're trying to sleep.

It's also a bit expensive however, not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally powerful and more attractive. This is a dual-purpose vacuum that's very capable however, it will cost you more and produce more noise.

iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best robot mop and vacuum. It has a number of features that are advanced and will make you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that takes charge of both mopping and vacuuming. It comes with a multi-function dock that automatically empty the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank and washes and dries its mop pads.

The smart robot makes use of LIDAR and structured lighting to create floor plans and detect obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its top competitors. It also has a front mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time but this wasn't foolproof in our tests and was often confused with obstructions or power cords.

The vacuum cleaner has the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also features "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates how hard the vacuum works and also alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of the home according to how dirty they tend to be.

If you own a larger home, it's worth choosing a model that has the option of cleaning zones or spots. This allows you to inform the robot of which area of your home must be cleaned by using the app or voice control. If you have lots of furniture, a stair mode is also a good option. Additionally the recharge and resume feature that lets your robot vacuum continue where it left off is great for busy families.

5. iRobot Roomba RX3

The RX3 is more advanced than its price suggests. It vacuums well and picked up 55% debris in our tests. (It was second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with one pad and a reciprocating movement that cleans better that most of the mop cleaners with robots that we've examined. And it's highly self-sufficient with a full-featured app and an auto vacuum and mop-emptying washable base.

The well-designed iRobot app will guide you through a mapping exercise that collects information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you have marked on the map. You can use it to create cleaning schedules, plan a spot clean or to prioritise your dirtiest rooms for better performance. The app also provides access to a variety of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom maps, and advanced settings for your cleaning.

Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuum uk vacuums, meaning it can reach corners and underneath furniture more easily. It features an impressive 8,000 Pascal suction as well as sophisticated combs that remove pet hair. You can also organize a spot-cleaner that will thoroughly clean a specific area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and less expensive alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras resemble cute eyes. It does a good job vacuuming, but is more prone to be caught by low thresholds and is more noisy than the other top robotic vacuums we've tried. It also comes with an app that's not as intuitive and has a tiny base station that can't double as a bin to empty.
