The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Some of them have excellent mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads for a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other models on this list, making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by a lot. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be employed to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. However, if you are buying this vacuum solely for mopping it is important to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it a great choice for homeowners who want an efficient, flexible, and customizable cleaning machine.

The device comes with a powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the house, identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and effectively. This will ensure a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other hard to reach spots. They also have a flexible side brush that extends to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads can be cleaned and dried to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce odors.

Another notable feature is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo allows you to alter the strength of suction and choose between a back-andforth, or a more random pattern. You can also select the number of passes, which determines how fast it can move around your home. You can also turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rug.

This device is expensive but has many smart features. However, it's important to remember that it carries periodic expenses in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For instance brushrolls need to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad must be replaced every three to six months.

This robot vacuum that mops has a high rating on Amazon and includes a broad range of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with an power button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' as well as a 'Home' button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock which automatically empty the trash bin, fills up its water tank and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be an ideal option for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home clean without spending too much time doing chores. It's a top-performing device, smart navigation, and a long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home tidy with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, that is, it can do both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two parts which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module which includes an elastomer pad. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean you don't have to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.

Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in picking up pet hair. It was able capture many of the hair sheds from our cats. It even made it into the corners and crevices of our stairs, where other robots had struggled. It was silent and also had a few nice jingles that let you know when it was starting or completing its task.

The app was too basic and you had to change the modules each time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app isn't able to store multiple maps, which could be a pain for homes that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that can perform both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. It does however, have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base comes with a couple of buttons for control, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot vacuum cleaner reviews or run the dock's best automatic vacuum cleaner emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni can sometimes get so entangled with obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you free it. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking best robot hoover thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern, sleek base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxy models.
