Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To make them, you require an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they show a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item upgrades's current level and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. Moreover players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added in addition to an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item level upgrade reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them extra effects or an increased item upgrading level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an Best item upgrader item upgrade (Recommended Reading), the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
