Up until recently, the Korean scientific community avoided engaging with the creationists out of fear of giving the movement more credibility. However, silence is no longer an option.

What is Evolution?

They assert that evolution is not possible because it would require miracles. The pioneers of modern scientific thought resisted miracles in fear that they would lose their credibility.

Some creationists accept naturalistic evolution as well as special creation, and refer to their view "theistic evolution." This is also known as "continuous evolutionism" or the "evolution of species created." The theory says that God creates species from scratch and allows them to evolve over time.
