Study of Chinese Learners' Pedagogical Choices in Korean

Their choices were influenced primarily by four factors such as their personality and multilingual identities, their current life experiences as well as their relationship affordances. These findings have pedagogical implications for L2 Korean assessment.

Then, the selections were compared to their linguistic performance in DCTs to determine if they reflected pragmatic resistance or not. They also referred to external factors, like relational benefits. These findings suggest that native speakers' pragmatic norms are not the preferred norm for Korean learners. They may still be useful for official Korean proficiency tests. However, it is prudent for future researchers to reassess their applicability in specific situations and in various contexts. This will help them better understand the effects of different cultural contexts on the behavior of students and classroom interactions of students in L2.
